四川名医海外工作室（南非）

International TCM Medical Centre of Distinguished Sichuan Experts (South Africa)

        响应“一带一路”倡议，推动中医药走向世界，“健康丝路·天府有约”四川名医海外工作室（南非）于2025年由成都市中西医结合医院与非洲中医及针灸中心共同成立，致力于提升四川中医药在非洲的传播力与影响力。

In alignment with the Belt and Road Initiative and in support of the global advancement of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the International TCM Medical Centre of Distinguished Sichuan Experts (South Africa) was officially established in 2025. This initiative was jointly launched by the Chengdu Integrated TCM and Western Medicine Hospital and the African Centre of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. The establishment of the centre marks a significant step in promoting the internationalisation of TCM, strengthening healthcare collaboration between China and Africa, and enhancing the global visibility and influence of Sichuan's TCM sector.

Mission

         “健康丝路·天府有约”四川名医海外工作室（南非）秉持“一带一路”倡议精神，致力于构建中医药国际化发展的桥梁。通过专业的医疗服务、学术交流、能力建设与公共健康推广，工作室的使命在于：

  • 推动四川中医药优势资源在非洲及全球范围的传播与融合；

  • 增进中非之间的卫生健康领域民心相通与务实合作；

  • 以循证医学和文化交流为基础，提升中医药的国际认知度与影响力；

  • 积极响应中医药“走出去”战略，培育本地人才，推动可持续合作。

        工作室致力于打造可持续的中医药国际合作平台，为全球健康福祉与人类命运共同体建设贡献中国智慧与中医方案。

The mission of the International TCM Medical Centre of Distinguished Sichuan Experts (South Africa) is to serve as a bridge for the international development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Through professional medical services, academic exchange, capacity building, and public health outreach, the centre is committed to:

  • Promoting the integration and dissemination of Sichuan’s TCM expertise in Africa and beyond;

  • Enhancing people-to-people healthcare cooperation between China and Africa;

  • Advancing the global reputation and influence of Chinese medicine through evidence-based practices and cultural engagement;

  • Supporting the “going global” strategy for Chinese medicine by fostering local partnerships and cultivating talent.

By building sustainable platforms for collaboration, the centre aims to contribute meaningfully to the improvement of global health and the shared future of mankind.

Vision

        “健康丝路·天府有约”四川名医海外工作室（南非）立志成为中医药在非洲传播与发展的引领者，构建跨文化、跨国界、跨学科的中医药合作新典范。通过搭建高水平国际交流平台，推动中医药与当地健康体系的融合互补，工作室的愿景是：

  • 建设成为具有国际影响力的中医药海外示范基地；

  • 成为中非传统医学合作与教育培训的重要桥梁；

  • 推动四川中医药在全球健康治理体系中发挥更大作用；

  • 引领中医药在非洲实现本土化、标准化、可持续发展。

        工作室愿以开放、合作、共享的姿态，助力构建人类卫生健康共同体，推动中医药造福全球更多民众。

The International TCM Medical Centre of Distinguished Sichuan Experts (South Africa) aspires to become a leading platform for the dissemination and development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Africa. By fostering cross-cultural, cross-border, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the centre aims to set a new model for international cooperation in traditional medicine. Its vision is to:

  • Establish itself as a globally recognised demonstration base for TCM overseas;

  • Serve as a vital bridge for China-Africa cooperation in traditional medicine and health education;

  • Elevate the role of Sichuan’s TCM in global health governance;

  • Promote the localisation, standardisation, and sustainable development of TCM in Africa.

With a spirit of openness, cooperation, and shared benefit, the Studio is committed to contributing to the building of a global community of health for all, and to enabling TCM to benefit people around the world.
